Simmons Beutyrest Mattress/Intergrated Bedding Group

California King - Largent by Simmons Intergrated Bedding Group 1724 S GROVE AVEOntario , CA 91761US I purchased a Simmons Beauty Rest cal king mattress from Easy Life furniture in Laguna hills and within 1 week of the delivery I reported a problem with the mattress as it was sagging and the pillow top was not holding it surface with the mattress base.Easy life sent out a request to Integrated Bedding group and a very rude 'technician' of theirs came to inspect and based on his findings - IBG sent a letter that everything is fine with the mattress and nothing can be done. We used the mattress and after a few months both me and my wife have developed Muskuloskeltal and gastric problems and I now have a bad shoulder because of the wrong posture continuously sleeping on this faulty mattress and my wife has a bad knee . We have spent a few hundred dollars already on medical because of this mattress - It shapes like a boast after you sit/lie on it. The Pillow top is not holding its surface and you get bulges on the portion where there is no weight. We filed another complaint with Easy Life and recently another technician form IBG named Hulio came for inspection - fortunately he was not rude like the first one and he admitted that there is a problem with the mattress and it is not right and he did write all the findings and measurements on his form and told me that he also observed a stain and needs to report it - which was fine as there is a faint stain from a soft drink. To our utter surprise this time also IBG sent out a letter stating there is nothing wrong and we are responsible for the stain - well they are not looking at their own technician's findings and there is not mention of it at all and making an excuse about the stain which was not there when we first complained about the mattress within first week of use.It says Warranty covers manufacturing defects yes sir the mattress is definitely defective. Any layman can tell that it does not require a technician to figure that out. It is high time someone should pull up this companies for this 'mattress scam' , they are making insane margins on sub-standard products where they can afford to pay dealer margins and can also afford 2 visits from IBG technicians. I am going to send this letter to Simmons, IBG and to all other competitors of theirs - Sealy, Serta etc. ( I hope they are not a part of this scam too ) along with consumer court and LA times , OC register to bring these cheats to light.I saw numerous complaints about this scam at complaint.com also - http://www.complaints.com/directory/2004/may/22/13.htmI congratulate IBG on being a faithful Watchdog for Simmons and not allowing their sub-standard and faulty products to get exposed. They are so professional (read con) that they dont even print their contact details on the letters (there is no letterhead) they send out except a PO box return address on the envelope and there is no website even where you can find a contact. Thanks, Maneesh Gupta

My Cobra Cable Drum Machine Was a Waste of Money

3 Feb

Cobra Model LX1000 Cable Drum Machine Cobra Sewer Machine Products Cobra Products, Inc. 1 Warner Court Swedesboro, NJ 08085 Swedesboro,, Ne 08085 US www.cobraus.com We purchased this sewer drain cleanout machine from Lowe's for $407.95 on May 25, 2004. We have only used the machine five times since then and had significant problems on three of those occasions. According to the literature, it cleans 4" lines up to 100'. What the literature does not say is the machine "eats" cables quicker than my cat consumes a raw shrimp. Replacement cables cost about $135. I always followed the instructions when using the machine. It worked fine on a drain clog 80' away the first time I used it. The second time for the same distance the cable kinked both inside the drum and inside the 4" sewer line at about 50'. Cobra replaced that cable at no cost. The third time we used the machine was for a short distance and it worked okay - I suspect because not more than 40' of cable was deployed. The fourth time for the 80' distance the cable again kinked; and Cobra was kind enought to replace the cable. What occurred each time was we had an overflowing sewer line. I had to find a Lowe's store that actually had a replacement cable in stock, make the drive (we live in a rural area), replace the darn thing, finish the job then complain to Cobra. When the replacement cable showed up I had to return it to Lowe's for a refund. If you have even been involved in trying to clear a main sewer line with people there needing to use a toilet or take a shower and go to work you can understand the frustration. When I used this new cable installed into the drum with TLC for the first time the other day it again kinked coming out and in the line. We believe the drum and subsequent in line kinking problem is caused by the cable construction. When I pay 400 bucks for something I expect it to work, correctly, the first time, every time - especially if I have the operating instructions in my hot little hand. I have asked Cobra to buy back this worthless piece of junk and have not received the courtesy of a reply, even if it is to say no. I am pursuing this with Lowe's Corporate because they are selling this inferior product. However, if you have ever dealt with Lowe's Corporate you know talking to someone who cares is a difficult task at best. I also noted this particular model is no longer on the Cobra web-site.

DO NOT TRUST DIRECT COMMERCE ACADEMY

3 Feb

Work from home scam Direct Commerce Academy website only US http://thedirectcommerceacademy.com I signed up for what I thought was a no strings attached work from home internet link for 2.95 and 5 days later, today, they debited my account for 139.95! I called them and they told me that there was a 5 day trial period clearly started on the electronic info I read and â??signedâ?? and I said I do not remember seeing anything like that â?? I would have certainly remembered seeing that you were going to charge me 139.95 after 5 days. Basically he said too bad. Sorry. I told him I was going to file every complaint I could against their company and tell everyone I knew about this. I am beyond furious.

amazon.com STEALS MONEY!

3 Feb

amazon.com US www.amazon.com We opened a Merchant Selling Account with amazon.com in February 2008. Over the two months we sold above 40 products through their website, however, we never received payments for those. In April 2008 amazon.com stopped our activity, in May 2008 we received an email stating out account was suspended. When we wanted to know more and resolve the problem, amazon.com ignored our effort and simply stated their decision is final and they will not even consider discussing it. Our money, of course, never made it to our account. When we reviewed our account statement we noticed amazon.com charged us percentage for each sale on their website, they automatically took the money from our account. We never got paid, we never got money for our products that got sold on amazon.com!!! We tried calling amazon.com to find out what is happening only to find out the department taking care of such issues does not have a phone line, our only option is to email them and wait. So we emailed them. After a while when weâ??ve got no response, we tried emailing them again, still, no response. Seems like amazon.com only knows how to take money away, once they are the ones to pay, there is no one to take care of it, no one to pay, no one to take care of the merchant!

Abbey House, Regent's Place, London - A letter requesting that all customers who have opened accounts since July 2002, be it Current Account, Savings or Mortgage, etc. MUST re present the company with evidence of identification due to the change in the La Abbey House, Regent's Place, London - A letter requesting that all customers who have opened accounts since July 2002, be it Current Account, Savings or Mortgage, etc. MUST re present the company with evidence of identification due to the change in the Law     Identification checks being made by Abbey National UK on random accounts     Company; Abbey National Abbey House 2 Triton Square Regent's Place London NW1 3AN Complaint Subject/Issue: A letter requesting that all customers who have opened accounts since July 2002, be it Current Account, Savings or Mortgage, etc. MUST re present the company with evidence of identification due to the change in the Law. The issue of presenting the company with adequate information and evidential proof of ID is not in itself a subject of complaint, however, the method in which the Abbey National Branches are collecting such information is alarming to say the least. You are advised in their literature that you have the choice of posting several documents of ID in the post and this will be returned to you a.s.a.p. or you may present the same documents of your choice from two set lists, at any local abbey branch in the High Street. I considered that sending the originals of my documentation i.e; Passport or driving Licence in the post was not safe nor a secure way of presenting such ID and copies are not an option! The documents are to be placed in a marked Abbey envelope that is very clearly addressed and identified by anyone within the Post Office! Not a good idea ....I'm afraid I do not trust the Post Office to that extent or degree! Too many Passports are being stolen in the London Area sorting Offices of late and it would not take a genius to identify the envelope containing very confidential information! Secondly, take the documents to the Branch Option! I really did feel that the Customer Service Staff would have checked your ID at the branch with the Data they hold on computer file regarding your account. It would not be breaking the Data protection Act if you were present, when the checks were being made and permission granted. However, I was very surprised and most alarmed to find that all your documents are taken away from you behind the scenes for several minutes. There was no initial reason for doing this and no explanation given to me. Then my documents were brought back out from behind the scenes and given back to me and my signature requested as proof. More proof required??? What is more alarming is that, the proof I had shown as ID was my Credit Card and accompanying Debit Card Statement. They would not allow the Statement from the same Card issuer for some reason never explained either. My Credit Card had been photocopied both front and back for account number, name and signature. The card was not an Abbey National Card may I add. I only hold a Mortgage with them! In addition my whole Debit Card Statement was also copied with Name, Bank, Account Number and Address and my Financial debits, credits and transactions clearly visible for all to see! I now come to realise that somewhere in Internal Mail within Abbey National and hopefully being treated as secure and confidential, much of my private and secure personal information has been circling around and I will never know what will happen to this information. The Abbey National now for the second time in less than two years have my full ID and personal details including from the opening of my account (Mortgage): Passport copy and passport number taken. Driving Licence Copies Utility bills and details of previous addresses. Salary Pay Slips and Bank Statement Copies And now....My Credit Card Number, Issue dates and expiry dates, Full Name on Card, Copy of my Signature twice, and the security code on the back strip of my card! Also, in addition they have my Debit Card details, Bank account Number and Branch, Financial details and Sort Code Surely this is illegal and against all Data Protection Laws including Banking Codes I would like all consumers to be prior warned of the infringements of privacy and personal information being carried out by Abbey National under the heading of THE LAW! I have since considered changing my Bank and Card details for safety reasons. The whole issue in taking ID is to prevent fraud supposedly. However, if my card and bank details ever fall into the wrong hands at Abbey National, and they may, will this be a security breach aswell and invite unnecessary fraud! Abbey National.....Please think again...before I and many others take this much further indeed. Be warned all!!!!! Click this link to e-mail the above consumer: //

Office Depot Warranty Scam

3 Feb

HP Laptop NV550 Office Depot buffalo, NY 14224 US www.officedepot.com In July 2008 I purchased an HP NV550 Laptop computer. At the checkout the sales person offered me a two year extended warranty that he said would run after the 1 year HP warranty expired giving me 3 years of total coverage. Well when the laptop died recently I called Office Depot only to be told that the warranty ran from the date of purchase, not the expiration of the HP warranty. So I essentially paid for 1 year of useless coverage. Office Depot's response to me "You should have read the contract before buying it." How callous of an attitude. Needless to say I am done with Office Depot and HP.
